About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Instructional Design Specialist to join our training institute and lead the design and development of engaging, effective learning experiences. You will work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and leadership to build curriculum that drives real learner outcomes — across in-person, blended, and e-learning formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials including course curricula, facilitator guides, learner workbooks, assessments, and e-learning modules
- Conduct training needs analyses (TNA) to identify skill gaps and learning objectives
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to structure and sequence learning content
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex content into clear, learner-friendly materials
- Build and manage e-learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, or Adobe Captivate
- Develop assessments and evaluation frameworks aligned to learning objectives (Kirkpatrick Model)
- Maintain and update existing course content to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Support the LMS (Learning Management System) with content uploads, tracking, and reporting
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or L&D
- Hands-on experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar)
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience working with LMS platforms (Moodle, Cornerstone, TalentLMS, etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex information
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Portfolio of previous instructional design work required
Nice to Have
- Certification in instructional design (ATD, CPTD, or equivalent)
- Experience in a training institute, academic, or corporate L&D environment
- Familiarity with multimedia production (video, animation, audio editing)
- Arabic language proficiency (for GCC-based institutes)
