The company is a Riyadh-based Saudi event company founded in 2008, with a track record of 1,200+ delivered projects for 400+ clients. We specialize in exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, and seasonal activations across the Kingdom. Turning client briefs into memorable, well-executed experiences.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our commercial growth strategy within the Saudi events industry.
This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities, leading a team of 3–5 sales professionals, expanding our portfolio of government and private-sector clients, developing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing strategic deals. The successful candidate will also leverage existing industry relationships to generate new business and strengthen company's market position.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a leadership position with a significant impact on the company's growth and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the business development and sales function.
- Supervise and develop a team of 3–5 sales professionals.
- Build and maintain relationships with government and private-sector clients.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop commercial proposals and tender responses.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
- Expand Company's client portfolio through existing professional networks.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and revenue targets.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Saudi national, OR an Arab national born and raised in Saudi Arabia who speaks the Saudi dialect fluently.
- Based in Riyadh.
- Currently working in a Business Development role at an event management agency or event production company (supplier side).
- A career foundation in Project Management - a background in managing event projects that enables the candidate to understand technical and production details and discuss them credibly with clients.
- Minimum 6 years of combined experience across Business Development, Sales, and/or Project Management within the event management industry.
- Experience within a small-to-mid-sized organization.
- Currently managing a team of 3–5 employees.
- Proven access to decision-makers and an established portfolio of client relationships.
- Fluent in Arabic; working proficiency in English sufficient for business needs.
- Strong commercial acumen and deal-closing capabilities.

- Professional maturity and executive presence that inspire client confidence.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working directly with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi events market and procurement landscape.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary
- Team Commission: A 1% commission pool calculated on the total value of contracts, distributed across the business development team. The pool is shared among team members regardless of who personally sourced each deal, and is allocated proportionally to each member's tenure with the company through year-end.
